In the publication of Vanity Fair from July 2003, she was listed as one of the top teenage stars of the year. In 2004 Vega completed two films, Sleepover as well as State's Evidence. She played an online bullying victim in Lifetime's TV movie Odd Girl Out the following year. She was in a filmed television show in 2006 called Walkout. In 2007 she completed the filming of Remember the Daze which was only released in limited theatres. Repo was finished. The Genetic Opera released in the year 2008. 10 years ago, Vega has been confirmed as the main character in Helix composed and directed by Aram Rappaport. It began filming in Chicago in March 2008. Her initial role was for Robert Rodriguez's 2009 Robert Rodriguez film Shorts. The problem was that she was travelling to Australia for filming Broken Hill, the role of Vega in Shorts required to be recast. Kat Dennings was cast in her role. The actress appeared on Broadway in Hairspray in the role of Penny. Then, in 2009, she starred as Ruby Gallagher on the ABC Family TV show, Ruby & the Rockits, which also starred Patrick and David Cassidy. Vega performed the role of Wick in 2012's film The Devil's Carnival, a film from director Darren Lynn Bousman and screenwriter Terrance Zdunich. The two previously had a relationship with Vega in Repo! The Genetic Opera. 12. Vega played with Spencer Grammer, Kathryn Morris and Rob Margolies in 2br/1ba throughout 2012. Vega appeared in The Pregnancy Project on Lifetime Channel as well as completed her animated movie The Clockwork Girl. The Mine, a film produced by Vega and released in the year 2010 it was shown only to a small audience.
